Snow is Magic to a 4 year old

This is the story that went with the snow pictures.

I love my wife. Seriously, it was super deep for Bellevue in snow and Jake was so excited to play. I even joined them to go sledding down this big hill behind our house. I was riding with Jake and we were going super fast and actually crashed 3 out of 4 times. The best part about it is, when Jess saw snow she knew well and good that we should stop what we were doing since it will soon melt and we may go all year long without that much snow.

Jake Waiting for Santa

We were early for Santa so we took a few shots. Once Santa showed up Jake wasn’t up to it, so we skipped it. Still some good photos.

 From Ms. Cathy:

Dear Parents,
One more day and we’re off until January 6th.  I do hope you have a wonderful Christmas with family.  I told your children that I would really miss them during our break and they told me it would be ok and they could come in to give me a hug to help me feel better. 🙂

Highlights from December include:

    pattern link chain
    group Christmas tree in hallway
    red and green gak
rice and nativity scene in sensory bin

gingerbread man “run run as fast as you can” picture
    paper plate wreath
Rudolph ornament (or door knob hanger)
    crazy play in refrigerator box
silly elves changed water color in sensory tub from red to green during the night!
    letter I “inside out day”
letter I “I is for ice cream” picture with number of scoops

We learned a new finger play that your bear can teach you (with movements) over break:

The wise men traveled from afar
    Following the Christmas star
    When it stopped
    They jumped for joy
    And worshipped baby Jesus boy!
Your child is MY blessing.  Merry Christmas and Happy 2014!
