Jake’s 1st Birthday party was a success with both Granny & Grandpa Grimes and Nam & Bop Cannon attending!  We had a cranky baby due to 4 teeth coming in at once but he cheered up when we went outside for a picnic and presents.  The cake eating part was fun but not a big fan of the clean up.  Macrina bakery specially made the little cake for Jake with white chocolate cake and butter cream frosting.  I think I finally got all of the grease out of his hair two days later. =)

We did have a little bit of drama with a stray dog barking at our picnic blanket.  We tried to shoo him away and a lady yelled at us so we yelled back.  Don’t mess with the baby!

Thanks for all of the birthday wishes and love sent to Jake!  For all that could not make it, we gave him lots of hugs and kisses from you!
