This is the only picture I have of Lee in uniform. This was taken just before he and Jani left for Caldwell Idaho to get married. A lot of our family got married in uniform. Lee was in the Intelligence branch and stationed in West Berlin from 1966-1969.

Our House from the Water
FamilySee the little yellow house peeking through the trees? The one above and slightly to the left of the white home on the water? That’s our rental house through the end of the year. A basic little home that will be torn down for the next millionaire that wants a view. It was fun (and cold in the winter) while it lasted. We have a wonderful view and cheap rent but excited for a better house. Hopefully the next stop will be a home we can buy and Jake will grow up in.
Lessened learned. The best school in the area is not necessarily the best school for your child. Even in kindergarten kids know and judge each other on material worth. Thankfully Jake’s closest friend is also one of the most grounded.
